I'm the same, except replace enjoy with hate. Not the entire show, mind, but her character. Every time I see her in The Vampire Diaries I just go OH GOD NO IT'S JENNY THAT COW. Luckily I don't think her VD character is meant to be sympathetic, but she could be playing the most wonderful person alive and I think I'd still despise the character a little.

I really don't understand how people can like Jenny's character in the L-Word.

Came in here to say just that. There was nothing redeeming about Jenny. It sucks, because I used to like Mia Kirshner before the L Word.

I don't like Jenny, (annoying) author self-insert that she is, but I find her absolute batshit-ness hilarious. So, it seems entirely in keeping to me that Jenny would go off do all of these things and consider it some high form of performance art. Should I adopt and put down a dog as part of some elaborate revenge scheme or should I be a vampire queen today? These are the things that Jenny must decide in the morning.

YES YES YES! Whenever she shows up on screen, my brain goes "aha, so Jenny decided to be a vampire today then." It doesn't help that I can easily read her Vampire Diaries character, at least, as an obvious extention of Jenny's personality. I don't know if Isobel's meant to be quite as crazy as I think she is, but, either way, Alice is clearly exonerated and shouldn't be in jail...

Jenny Schecter was one of the most selfish, talentless (and yes I'm talking the character, not the actress) and just down right horrible characters I've ever seen on TV.

Honestly, I don't really care who killed her in the finale, I was just glad she was dead.
