Well, I've just seen people talking about him, but I don't know who he is or what happened to him or why he isn't on f_s anymore. The only reason I know about him is 'cuz he asked not to have fics written about him in the f_s kink meme.

I know he was well-known around here, and I know he was nice to me on one of my secrets. That's pretty much all I know. Hopefully someone can fill us in on when and why he left.

I mostly know his exploits on SF_Drama, where he used to tend heavily towards being oblivious of how shitty some things he would say were. Not exactly a troll, but he could be a jerk, sometimes on purpose, sometimes seemingly not, and frequently got embroiled in arguments.

Not the biggest douche, but he could definitely be one.

If that's the case, it's probably in the same manner in which Technophile dealt with Chix. But that was only because she attacked someone. I don't know. I wasn't there that day.

Why the hell did he ask that? Sure, he should have the option not to be written about, but it's a bit dickish and shows a lack of humour on his part. He was always an asshole though, so whatever.

*shrug* Maybe he found the idea of complete strangers writing smut about him unsettling? He's a douche for many reasons, but not wanting to participate in a real-person kink meme isn't one of them. Real people are not fandom characters who exist solely for your amusement.

FTR, I think it's also pretty douchey to say "you should have the option" to refuse to participate, but "it's dickish" to do so. If the out is there for people who are uncomfortable with being written about, then nobody is a dick for taking it.
