After seeing them live for the first time two days ago...yeeeeeeeeeeeah.

So many conflicting thoughts in my head now. :/

Can I ask what happened? I used to love MCR so much but . . . its dwindling quickly (long before this secret too).

Nothing in particular! There wasn't some big asshole moment or anything.

Aside from Gerard's obvious diva inclinations --the sashays and the hip wiggles and the camp-- I've always had kind of a love/hate thing going on with his image (the whole "we want to save your life" thing they had going on is, to me, equal parts endearing and infuriating). But it was mostly the fans that put me off, really pushy and completely lacking in show etiquette. I don't want to rag on all the fans ('cause some were AWESOME), but MCR (Gerard especially) seems to specially cultivate this entitled, teenage fangirl thing that's really offputting. I don't know if it's his onstage ego, or what.

omg. This was me at the show in Seattle on Sunday. I left the crowd and went to the bar because I was so frustrated with the annoying as fuck fangirls trying to fight over who got to stand where in the crowd. Ugh.
