Now that you think about it, how do people from different countries talk to each other? Or hell. Different planets. THAT is what I will never understand. A conveniently common language? I think now.

And I kinda understand you? I often get and always have gotten so annoyed with the translation convention. Like (German) kids fleeing from home to Italy and they don't have any difficulties communicating there?! Ugh. :/ My pet peeve.

I have totally done things like this in other fandoms, so YANA. I like your headcanon, though, it seems really well thought out.

Beyblade secret ftw! & your theory regarding languages has been my headcanon for years, anon. :)

I was trilingual by the age of ten, so I don't find your theory that weird. It's pretty cool actually.

Yeah, it's not that far fetched an idea, I've always kinda had this in a half-assed thought every now and then.

I am actually interested in how people communicate with say a 'mid-way language', like how people use English/French/German etc as 'go-to' languages that most people have a little grasp on.

I suppose Esperanto is one of those as well.

For some reason I find this secret really cute.

Your headcanon is the best. Keep overthinking things, I like what has come from it.

Max also tends to throw in random English words in the not dub. I think he'd do the same with other languages, maybe occasionally using a word from another language while speaking a different language. And he and Tyson use lots of excited hand motions to get their point across. Universal wavy hand motions.

This is the cutest beyblade secret ever; it's like gen fic or something. And I'm adopting that head canon. And, well, since it fits to share it here, my special theory is that Max ends up taking skydiving as a hobby later on in life.

I love your thinking here and it actually got me thinking about a scene from the first season. You remember when they're first in Russia and they're kinda lost and everyone (except Kai) is ragging on Kenny because he's the smart one and if they don't know something he should? And Kenny just snaps that he doesn't read Russian and Kai just takes it off him, glances at it and starts leading the way.

Despite being able to remember this scene in HD, I can't remember if that was meant to be a big reveal about Kai or not.

Though I'm not a Beyblade fan, I often find myself having the same thoughts in my own favorite shows like this.
