Though I do like that Leslie/Ben has caught the attention of some fic writers that were old favorites of mine so that we have some fandoms in common again, LESLIE/ANN FTMFW! (more fic please!)

They are cute together. The relationship is well-written on the show. I can't fault anyone for shipping it, but I just wish the other characters and storylines got HALF as much love.

I sometimes feel like I'm the only person in the universe who doesn't ship Leslie/Ben. But yeah, I can't bring myself to be too annoyed because people are paying attention to Leslie Knope and I love her vastly.

You're not. I don't ship them either and don't even see the adorableness/chemistry. I'd rather switch their scenes for more Leslie/Ann. Oh well.

(But yes, Leslie is awesome, so if Ben is smitten with her, I guess I can't fault him too much. :))

It would be nice to see a little more gen or Ann/Leslie, etc. but pretty much all of the Ben/Leslie I've read has been well-written and utterly charming.

Plus, I want to bone Adam Scott, so yeah.

Leslie/Ben actually bores me, I don't care for it. Unfortunately, that's the only thing in this fandom.

Fandom (or at least this segment of fandom/nerdery) is pretty much entirely founded on shipping so I'm not sure why this surprises you? There's never really going to be much activity until there's something to ship. That's the way fandom operates and has operated pretty much always.

I agree with you, tho, don't really care deeply about this ship. It's an okay show. Good cast. Very good-natured show, I think to its own detriment - I'm glad that it's not cringe humor, but I think it would be well served with a little more edge, you know? Gets kind of one-note sometimes.

I really love the show, mostly for Tom and his '=D' face, cracks me up every time. And that Leslie and Ann remind me of myself and my best friend, and Ron cracks me up too. It has an Office feel and I enjoy that, but I'm glad it's not a clone. It's funnier in some respects because it's not a riff from an original so they don't have to worry about comparisons.
