I'm going to see The Black Cards. I'm really nervous but I just fell in love with their music after I looked it up because of a secret on here. I'm 30 and this is going to be my first concert. If it goes well I think I might try to see the Dropkick Murphys.

Oh dude, the Dropkick Murphys are freaking AMAZING in concert. I'm 29 myself, and I'm been going to their shows for years. I've seen people of all shapes and sizes rocking their faces off to their music. Even though there's crowd-surfing and pits break out, Dropkick crowds are some of the best I've ever seen, just crazy energetic and singing along and having a hell of an awesome time. I can't wait until the next time I get to see them. You'll love it :)

Also, thanks for the heads up on The Black Cards. Listening to them now, and they're hella fun.

DKM are an AWESOME show! Also, I've been plus sized since I was NINE and I used to rock out in the mosh pits with everyone else and I never once had someone make a crack about my weight (or gender which surprised me because I had been warned that some shows were unofficially considered "no clit in the pit" but that seemed more at hardcore than punk shows) so I hope you enjoy the same awesome experience, Anon! :)

Oooh. I love The Black Cards! I would have gone if the tour had just been a little closer. I'm jealous. Have a great time!
