I agree with this. I think the only problem I had with the dub voices is when they changed them -- Serena's second one was really grating, and though Ami's wasn't bad, she lost her cool accent I liked so much :\

Errrrgh, the Cloverway Dub happened when I found out about the internet and thus, subbed VHS tapes. After watching those to the point of almost killing my VHS player, watching the Cloverway Dub was an ear sore. D:

Awwww :( I still have the dub versions of some of the movies on VHS (I think I have Super S and maybe R laying aorund somewhere). I should rewatch them sometime XD

See, when they FINALLY came out with those movies, they brought back the VAs from the DiC dub and mixed in the characters that showed up in the Cloverway seasons, so it was a happy little medium for me at the time.

I'll take this time to ask you, in case you didn't know, that the SM mangas are getting a reprint in the US in September? As someone who has a well loved, well worn collection of the Mixx volumes, I am OVERJOYED.

I did hear about that!! I think it was here actually, on another different SM secret :D So awesome! I haven't bought any manga in years, but I'm definitely going to have to check it out!

Serena's original VA had an excuse. Getting pregnant with twins tends to slow a person down.

Either way though, I wasn't trying to place any blame on the original VA. She obviously has the right to not do the voice anymore, whether it's because of her pregnancy or because she simply didn't want to anymore. ^^; I was just expressing my annoyance with the second VA they chose is all...
