(Anonymous) 2011-04-05 09:54 pm (UTC)(link)44 and 45 were compressed together though, and they really did a hackjob. I found it hilarious how they cut the scene where the girls' ghosts comfort Sailor Moon at the end of the first part, yet that scene is shown in the "Sailor Says" for the episode (with the wrong voices lip-synched to each character that provides a moral message). They definitely cut the death scenes down to where they just showed the ice towers popping up and an explanation that the girls got "captured" by the Negaverse. Yet when they were "freed" to help Sailor Moon, they were transparent like ghosts. Whoops.
The ending between Usagi and Mamoru got changed a ton too. They recycled the imaginary hospital scene from when she was trying to de-brainwash him, and slapped it on to the end of the episode as an actual scene, where "Serena" is a hospital volunteer.
