Because it's not the genetics that is creeptastic and wrong about incest, it's the relationship. Genetically she was not his daughter, but he raised her as such since she was 10 years old. And then had sex with her. It's like he found someone at 10 that he found attractive, then trained her up until she was nice and legal, then pounced. Creeeeepy and should be illegal.

But isn't that making assumptions about his intention? Maybe he did "train her up", but then again, maybe he didn't. Maybe he genuinely fell in love with the woman she grew up into.

It's not fair to pass such judgement if we don't have all the facts. But if she was consenting, then what's the problem? She wanted it, and so did he.
