I'd say it's more of a "series with some yuri elements" than a "yuri series," but I can see why people with broader definitions would classify it as the latter (and why it's included on lists of series of interest to yuri fans). Rosalie's feelings for Oscar are canon, plenty of women swoon over Oscar even knowing she's a woman, and there's some subtext between Oscar and Antoinette (though I personally don't see their relationship as being that romantic).

I'm guessing this secret is more about people who refuse to acknowledge that there's any significant f/f content in it whatsoever, though.

Oscar with Andre and Alain can be interperted as Yaoi, Oscar flips the script on sooooo many gender roles. I love it, but it does get seriously confusing with what to make of the whole thing *__*
