To #1: In anime / manga and video games? Oh, yes, I very much agree. :-) In real life? Short hair is the norm. -_- So I want more long-haired lay-deez out here in Hell Earth.

To #8: That, there, is a big can o' worms, but it'd be neat to open it up and talk about it so as to straighten that out once and for all.

To #11: You're not alone! That's my all-time favorite manga, and I even have a little poster of Ai on my wall! :-D
