I don't know, because I tried to talk them down (I think my persuade skills just didn't pass the check) and I still ended up having to kill all of them for that...blood mage.

me too. especially when you consider that you just killed your dalish wardens clan, due to merrills stupidity. it's not even that i outright hate merrill, i just really wish that the game gave you the option to persuade her to see how just how dangerous the mirror is and how much harm it could bring...

same with anders really.
