...and, wait, writing poetry makes you femme? GOOD GRIEF I HAVE BEEN MUCH MISTAKEN IN MY WAYS I AM CLEARLY LESS BUTCH THAN I THOUGHT! *gasp* Anyway, I've never been able to understand this whole "too feminine" thing, any more than the "too masculine". I mean, geesh. People are people, right? Stick a label on it and judge it on that is a prime way to suck at life.
Which I guess is why I kind of took umbridge at what you said originally, because for me, a lot of that kind of tolerance was learnt from artists like P!nk (when, yes, I was fourteen or so) and when she's been so influential in helping me to come to terms with myself and other people as more than labels, it's kind of a kick in the teeth to see people label her in the same kind of way.
...wow. This is a long and mildly flaily post for half past three in the morning. I'm probably not making much sense, huh? =/ Sorry.
