I never deliberately put in any subtext that I don't want. Still, the characters somehow manage to do it themselves. And I hate it. Hate it. The possible non-canon ships I can see in my work are driving me nuts. It's like there are two of me: the author and the ficwriter. I'm afraid this will lead to my abandoning this novel altogether. It's insane.

P.S. - Not an OP. Wanted to post a secret like this for a long time, but never had the courage.
