You're kinda conflating two things, there.

1) There's nothing wrong at all with liking older men--hell, older partners in general--no matter your age. Maturity, restraint, experience, all those things that come with age, are in fact pretty desirable traits.
2) You're not alone on the other bit. Thou shalt not covet, right? But you can acknowledge that he IS attractive, and at the same time consciously choose not to desire him. He's still sexy, but you're not going to act on it--not even in your head. (FWIW, I think this is honourable, so...you're not weird for finding it "rude and unfair".)
