I dunno, I kinda think it does. Like, if OP is friends with f!list for mostly fandom-related reasons, they'd probably be all about the excitement if it were a fandom they liked, but it's not, so now all that excitement makes their friends "squeeing morons."

Which is always such a nice thing to call your friends behind their backs.

I don't detect jealousy at all, personally. Not even if I try to read it as if there was any. I just think OP is annoyed with it. That's pretty much how it is with everything. With Homestruck (I think that's what it's called) and that other thing... with people named after countries or something
