Look, it's very easy. It bothers you that much? YOU move to another journal service if Fandom is that important in your life. It's not that hard!

And to make this thread a little less selfish... Is there anything we non-Russian ljrs can do to show our support for the Russian ljrs who are being oppressed?

There were badges and banners and stuff for strikethrough... and that was a fannish thing....

Why not banners in russian that say "International LJ users for free speech" or something like that? "Stop the DDoS on Freedom of speech"? I'm bad at slogans and I don't speak a word of russian but... something?

I honestly feel dissapointed that when strikethrough happened in less than 12 hours there were banners and blogs and so much movement from fandom... and now? NOW when it's something *really* important? Silence.

I'm practicing Russian, I might be able to manage something like that, I don't know how far it'd go, but.. I'm willing to go for it. =w= I mean, everyone kind of deserves to wander around and post here equally, and they were kind of here first.

I hear you though, I think it'd be a good thing, I don't like the DDoS stuff either.

I have a friend who's studying russian. I'll call her and ask her if she can help. Maybe it's been more than a week (And that's a lot in Internet time) but we can still do something, right?

(In the meantime, I decided that as long as LJ supports free speech in Russia, I'll keep paying my account. THIS guys do deserve my money)
