Plot aside, it's kind of a badly made cartoon. Everything is copy and paste flash crap. They don't even try to make it look good.
And whenever I say the animation quality is poor, the people I know who worship ponies say "MMMMBUT BUT BUT IT WAS MADE BY THE PEOPLE WHO DID POWERPUFF GIRLS..."
Okay, and?
Powerpuff girls wasn't the pinnacle of animation, and even with that said, they've really lost their touch over the last decade.
I'm just going to sit over here and stay away from a show meant purely for selling poorly made merchandise.
The pony toys in the 80s were better made, anyways.
Gonna just go brush my Sweetheart Sister Spring Song pony's hair now...
