I wish Kanye didn't have issues with women.

Doesn't stop me from singing along to gold digger. I feel a bit guilty every time I do.

The egotism doesn't bother me at least.

I think Kanye's the least sexist one of the mainstream rappers but he is still pretty sexist. It makes me feel bad for enjoying his music tbh. :/

I don't mind egoism in songs so much, since sometimes that's its only enjoyable feature. But yeah, sexism in music makes it hard for me to sing catchy tunes.

I know what you mean.

I like Kanye, but he does have his moments. I feel like some of the misogyny in his newest album could be attributed to the ills in society he's trying to highlight. Especially in "All Of the Lights" I interpret the entire abusive relationship with his wife (who leaves him, yaaay!) as an example of the outcomes of a failed system.
I am over-thinking this, aren't I?

(Personally I think "Kiss with a Fist" is an even more fucked up, but I love that song too.)
