I wish I could combine the Sims 2 and the Sims 3. Take the qualities of the Sims 3 - graphics and in-game customization, and mix it with the game play and better downloadable custom content of the Sims 2. Oh, and I love the Seasons and Pets expansion packs. I wish the Sims 3 had those D:

As much as I still love the Sims 3, I agree that it lost some of the magic the others had :(

This is pretty much exactly how I feel. There are great qualities to both games, a lot of the gameplay they added in 3 is fantastic, as well as your sims being able to think a little better for themselves (like STEP AROUND things) but it lacks the personality the 2nd game had- which for me largely came from dlc.
