Yeah, well. Every other day for the past week or so it's been a boring bunch of secrets, and a few people always point that out. I'm not really breaking some taboo... :/

Maybe they've been boring to you. I've been seeing more interesting secrets than usual.

And, yeah, it is kind of rude to make a habit of pointing out how "boring" you think everything is. Other people do this, but you just happen to have been doing it a lot recently.

Whenever someone says how boring the day's post it, I feel badly for the people whose secrets were posted. :( The wordiness is a legit note to make, but the boring thing is kinda mean.

You come in all the time and post about how boring these secrets are and try to get people paying attention to you instead of the secrets. To you, maybe these secrets are boring, but to some people these are actually important things that took a lot to get off their chests. It's dismissive and insulting to come in and say "you're secrets and issues are boring, let's pay attention to me instead!"

And yes, I realize you're not the only one doing this. Still irks me.

So you're saying that if a bunch of individuals are rude, that makes it okay for everyone to be rude? Just because some people make horrible comments does not give everyone an excuse to behave the same, and just because some of the things said in comments are "usually much worse" does not give you free reign to be slightly less insulting.

I don't see why you're defending this person, as all I'm saying is that it was insulting to say that everyone's secrets are boring and uninteresting when it would have been very easy for no_one_specific to start a conversation topic minus the insulting part.

It's perfectly fine to start a conversation topic thread in the general comments, but it just would have been nice if you had done so without insulting all of the secret makers.
