And I find the whole Miyu/Larva relationship too creepy for my tastes. I have no idea if there are actual feelings involved there or if Larva is only loyal to her because of the blood bond, which would be too much like slavery in my eyes.

This is one of the reasons I was so upset the company publishing the manga went under. In the "New Vampire Princess Miyu" series, it really explores their relationship and shows that, yes, they do care for one another. I would give an example, but I don't want to give spoilers if you don't want.

Your icon really disturbs me. Everytime I see her hitting herself, I squint. And now I'm squinting every second and it's freaking me out.

That's great to know. I've never read any of NVM, but I've always wanted to. If it's not too much trouble, I'd love to hear that example.
