Um, I guess if you think it's narrow-minded to ship the characters that the creators most likely want you to ship, or at least the ones with the most subtext?

You're fine, OP.

I would say Kurtofsky is more divisive than mainstream, OP.

I think that there are some people who pick up subtext better than others... so long as you ship a pairing because you like it, don't fret about why you like them or if you should like some other pairing - it'll just ruin your fun. :)

Who are the guys in the left picture?

[identity profile] super-robyn.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 09:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Shemar Moore and Matthew Gray Gubler from Criminal Minds. Morgan and Reid. <3

Someone please tell me that Kurtofsky isn't a POPULAR ship??? Please??

(Anonymous) 2011-04-16 09:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Get your Kurtofsky trash out of here.

Kurt's too cute for that.

[identity profile] la-petite-singe.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 10:09 pm (UTC)(link)
...Kurtofsky is "obvious"? Yeah, I ain't touchin' that one. But I guess I've felt the same way; sometimes I worry that I ship too many canon things and want to ~mix it up or whatever.

[identity profile] smokingguncafe.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 10:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Did you seriously spell it "mainstreem"?
ext_19953: (introduce a little anarchy)

[identity profile] mutantjules.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)
No worries, man. I am all about The Weird And The Unloved but shit, sometimes things are super-popular BECAUSE THEY'RE GREAT. like the Beatles! maybe most people ship the pairings you do because the characters just go together well

[identity profile] missing-mile-15.livejournal.com 2011-04-16 10:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I ship everything anon. Popular, crack, whatever. You ship it because you like the dynamic and think that the characters go well together. It doesn't matter if it's popular or not.

[identity profile] frostoria.livejournal.com 2011-04-17 12:50 am (UTC)(link)
Be glad you ship popular pairings, because I'm having a hard time finding anything for my OTPs. And anyhow, it doesn't really matter if the pairing is popular or not as long as you like it.

[identity profile] jennacorinth.livejournal.com 2011-04-17 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't class Kurtofsky as mainstream or popular by any stretch of the imagination. Klaine? Absolutely. Kurtofsky? Not so much.

[identity profile] frostoria.livejournal.com 2011-04-17 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
No, I agree it's not mainstream (though it's surprisingly popular considering the fact that he bullied Kurt to the point that Kurt had to transfer). I was just referring to the secret in general.

[identity profile] velvet-mace.livejournal.com 2011-04-17 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I can tell you there's no prize for shipping non-popular pairings, so... don't sweat it.
