Also I have no idea if I will do it. I'm a giant wimp, for one, and two, I have sensitive skin and I don't react to piercings well. My ears always used to bitch if I put the wrong kind of metal in them even for a second, and I definitely don't want the piercing irritation afflicting my poor, innocent nipples.

I wish I could magically bypass the metal sensitivity and process of having a sharp thing shoved through my skin and just get to the part where I have AWESOME NIPPLE PIERCINGS. 8(

If you stick to surgical steel and titanium, it should be fine. Unfortunately a lot of the cuter designs are made of cheap materials. >:
