...Because custom comment pages are usually ugly as fuck, and no one wants to stare at the repetitive background of whatever actor you think is hot/try to read your fic in the horrible font you've chosen?

The fact that virtually everyone EXCEPT the OP knows about ?style=mine should tell you something.

MOST PEOPLE HATE OTHER PEOPLE'S CUSTOM STYLES. It shouldn't even be an option to make you comments page in your own style. Not only does it make everything harder to read, it's jarring.


I don't think most people replying here actually know what the word "entitled" means. How is it entitled to want comment pages to load in a site-standard, readable style, and not someone's OMG SO PRITTY personalized style?
