ETA: Additionally, how would you feel about keeping it at the usual 4PM Eastern on weekends? That's totally doable. Say what you think in comments maybe?

I comment on the bits worth commenting on whenever I happen to get to the entry. A few minutes or a few hours later doesn't make a bit of difference -- either way I "participate". As long as you get to look and sound off once a day, what does it matter how old the post is?

Hmm, I kind of have mixed feelings.

On one hand, if it was in the morning, it would be kind of fun to be able to check FS first thing in the morning and have the whole day to be able to comment on the secrets before the comment threads become "old". But it seems a bit weird to have the day's post already over with so early.

On the other hand, if it were at night it would be cool to have "Fandom Secrets time" occur after a long day, and I know a lot of people like browsing the web at night. But then it would feel like more of a disappointment when there's nothing really interesting, since we had the whole day to build up to when the secrets are posted.

It seems both options have their pros and cons.

I'm pretty sure we all do, honey, but it's best to stop crying about things that can't be changed and get the deuce over it; Case is doing the best he can with what he's got. Jesus, what a bunch of whiners we have in this comm.

As long as it goes up around the same time every day so I can check it since the notifs aren't going out any more, I'm cool. ^^ I'd prefer later in the day to the morning but it's not essential.

Honestly I don't think it will matter since people comment on posts even when they are like, eight hours old. Everyone in Europe will be logging on to comment at the same time they normally do, so what's the problem? Because Americans will be asleep at that time, or working or whatever? Are you seriously bitching because Americans' internet schedules don't coincide with yours?

One of the most amusing things to come out of the time change has been the chance to see entitled, arrogant Europeans whine in the way for which Americans are usually berated.

I'd like it in the morning (Also EST here), but 8-11 PM's cool too. I'd love to have F!S at the regular time on the weekends. I'd definitely appreciate that, but if you end up getting busy or something, I won't freak out.

Am I really the only one who prefers to read the wank after it's all over? I usually have nothing to contribute anyway (everyone else usually has it covered), and it saves me from having to refresh the page. *shrug*

I think a time change will allow more people to participate. I hope that the people who will now look at it later can keep their level of comments up and lasting a little longer. It will also allow some of those who felt they were too late to comment on the secrets a chance to be "first". I hope this will extend the time where comments are relevant to the whole day not just the few hours after a post.
