I'm glad that log helped you find your courage, OP, but:

1. Karkat wants to know what this "coming out" thing is, and when the hell he did it, considering trolls don't have a concept of orientation and it would never have occurred to him that hitting on John was a big deal; and

2. Even taking into account that you're anon and I don't know the general quality of the ideas you tend to come up with, I'm pretty sure pinning all your romantic hopes on a fictional alien teenager is really not the best one you've ever had.
