Apparently sock puppet accounts are unheard of and that everyone expects you to have a paid account to track anon posts. Heaven forbid someone makes an LJ specifically for requesting in a kink meme just to track things. I can't speak for the requester but for me, I request/prompt but don't fill using my prompt journal. I fill anon because I think my work is shitty. Depending on the response I get, I claim the work and go public.

This anon assuming shit, just like the anon did me, pisses me off.

Sorry, man, but you can refresh your requests/check them daily like the rest of us do (or did before we angrily ponied up for the paid account after a year and a half). The whole problem with non-anon comments on a kink meme is that they throw everything off-balance, in all senses of the word. So while a situation like the one you're describing may indeed be the case, it's the APPEARANCE of entitled spamming that throws everything out-of-whack and causes resentment. It's like a few drops of red paint in a can of white paint -- it doesn't matter if it's only a small amount in reality, the whole thing suddenly seems obnoxiously pink anyway.

The beauty of a fully-anonymous kink meme is that no conclusions can be leapt to. It also keeps author and prompter identities more shadowy and safe, not just because you can't tell who wrote a specific fill/prompt, but because you can't tell who DIDN'T write it either, if that makes sense. Logged-in posts on a kink meme, especially small kink memes, makes process of elimination real damn easy.
