Ha, nope. Oldschool lightguns and LCD screens don't play nice, since the former was built with CRT displays in mind.

I realize I could probably just grab Duck Hunt off the Virtual Console and play it that way, but fuck it. If I can't use my Zapper, I ain't with it.

i don't like that you can't play most old-gen games on new TVs without the TV somehow making them look even worse than they were originally, idk

OMG YES. When I was 4 years old, I used to hide behind a couch to avoid playing this when people came over because the dog scarred me so much :( Permanent self-esteem damage.
