Hey man, fandoms come and go. It's the nature of fandom as a whole. Don't get upset or worried about going on to something else. HINABN will always hold a special place for you and you have those great memories. And when the updates start again, you can dive right back in.

People are being hyper defensive to due to a vocal few demanding fans who were getting a bit entitled and/or bitter. You get this paranoid apprehension that any complaint will bring in the trolls. That, or you're running into the hyper young fen that flood her DA page.

It'd be nice if it picks up again in the future, but I doubt it at this point. Still, it left me with a lot of great memories. That comic, and the music I found through it formed part of the backdrop to an exciting period of change in my life, and I will always look back on it fondly. Hanna, ..., Adelaide, Conrad and Doc Worth: <3 So much fun.

I've been done for a while now. I just... can't. Knowing now what I know about Tessa flaking on past comic projects, I just can't buy the whole 'ohhh nooo something's seriously wrong we can't judge her' thing. I think she just got overwhelmed again by her popularity and she'll come back with a new project, with more slashable boys with huge sideburns (http://vert-is-ninja.deviantart.com/#/d370nw9).

But if you can still find enjoyment in the fanbase, then by all means I encourage you to stay however long you see fit. But it sounds to me you're as canon-hungry as I am-- I crave 'real' updates for my fandoms, because as much as I love fan interpretations, the source material is always more interesting to me. And I can't go weeks without so much as page anymore. I know it never had a steady update schedule, but after she quit her job and got rounded up by 4DE? Yeah, I'm sorry, but that makes Hanna her job and she just isn't showing up for work.

This is not to say I am in any way demanding an update-- I never have, and never will. I knew what I was getting into when I hopped into a series with no update schedule to speak of (that should have been a warning sign to me to stay away, but goddamn her art was too pretty). If it ever updates again, I won't know unless it's through internet-osmosis. I'm done /shrug

I'm not really a fan myself I'm just so tired of seeing people ask where she's gone it'd be funny to see someone else do it. Then again I don't think A group of fans could finish it without collapsing in on themselves about pairings.

if it was some kind of lulzy thing where people didn't take it seriously, though, that'd be great. like everyone who wants to participate picks a number and when it's their turn they just continue where the last person left off.
