Poor White/Touko/Whitlea/Hilda. I think she's the only one to end up with FOUR commonly-used names.

Although I must admit that I still call the HGSS rival 'Silver'. He just doesn't seem like a Soul to me!

Hey, is Red the only one to have no alternative names, then? (Aside from Ash, I guess.)

Hmmm . . . nope, there's also Kris. While you could argue that "Crystal" is an alternate name for her, I think "Kris" is the only name that is applied to the game character across the board. And technically "Leaf" is Leaf's only name, I think, though there's also Blue/Green confusion (I started off calling her "Blue" just to fit with the color theme-naming of the other two, but I've wondered in recent times if that's wise, because many people think I'm referring to the PokeSpe character that way, when I'm really not).

And I just call the HG/SS Rival "Rival," haha. Except in fic. I have my own little universe that I operate in within fic, and there he's called "Will" to be another His Dark Materials reference alongside Lyra. (Ethan is still Ethan, but he fulfills Roger's role . . . except with a happier ending.)

Didn't she also have something like Marina in the anime? But yeah between the Japanese and English versions of the games, the manga, and the anime, I guess no one escapes with just one name XD;;
