I've always found video game worlds, no matter how realistic or how cool, really really creepy. Unless they're like 8 bit or something like that.

That...kind of makes me sad. Video game worlds, at least some of them, are beautiful to me. I just love to run around in them and just be amazed at the world people have created.

I know, I know, different people seeing different things. But it always saddens me a little when people can't see the beauty and joy from something that I do. I feel like they're missing out on something totally awesome and wish I could smoosh my enjoyment into their brains.

No, don't misunderstand me! I enjoy them, and I sometimes even love them. But I hate a world that has boundaries, that ends...I find it quite frightening. I think it's my "I like my own universe" thing.

This is an old post but ME TOO. If the graphics are really good then I can suspend my disbelief long enough to just get on with playing the game (I've skipped two generations of consoles because of it!), but where it's blocky enough to be obvious then askflhdff no. Can't go on. Forget zombies, the creepiest video-game scenes I've watched are videos of other people walking through walls in debug mode.
