I thought some of the concepts were neat--like the Sithi and the Inuit-ish trolls, the Catholicism replacement faith was well-done, they actually had human nations coming into conflict rather than a resolute alliance of heroes...

But you had to put up with some really crappy work to get there, yeah.

Nowhere near as bad as Pawn of Prophecy though. Fuck you, David Eddings .
