I don't understand the hate for her. She's sweet, but still a little girl which means that she has some growing up to do. I'm sure many of her haters would like her after she matures a bit. I still like her as she is, though.

I also don't understand the attraction of Sebastian/Ciel. It's so boring.

If she was like that I'd like her a lot better. She's okay, but she really kind of ruins the good violent, angst-fest that is so often Kuroshitsuji by being an irritating ball of shallow girly-girl perk. Wish they'd kept Madame Red and offed her instead.

How dare there be some spot of sunlight in an otherwise dark Manga!

She doesn't ruin the angst fest. And she's possibly the least shallow of the entire series.

"I want to eat your soul so I'll do your bidding."
"I want to avenge my parents so I'll sell my soul."
"These women are throwing away their unborn children SO THEY MUST DIE."

Meanwhile, Lizzie... Wants to see people happy. It's not about her. She wants to see Ciel happy again, like the boy she knew before his parents died. Because he was happier and less angsty and... Genuinely seemed to enjoy life as opposed to just going along with it.

And honestly? Her non-angst actually makes me happy, because if Kuro was nothing but violence and angst, it would suck. Everything needs a balance to be good. the only shallow person here is you.

Other Anon: And answer me, if you can, what character depth does she have without Ciel? She is nothing more than a stereotypical Victorian woman who could do nothing but suck her husband's dick. Sorry, but that's the truth.

It's true that everything needs balance but there are other comic relief characters such as Soma and we don't need perfect (at least her faults are always forgiven and NEVER mentioned in the series again), always-liked Mary- Sues with main character being paired with them (even if Ciel is not said to love her he cares for her and they are engaged).

Have you been following the latest manga arc? She is completely handling herself in a freaking zombie apocalypse and, heck, handling some elements of it (the goofy pose etc) better than Ciel is. I've always liked her but I get a good sense here that she's going to be a match for him if he ever makes it into adult life.

i actually kinda like her, too. she's a kid that acts like a kid, and i honestly don't have that much of a problem with her.

/totally needs to catch up on kuroshitsuji aah
