I wouldn't say ONK is just about fapping. Yeah that's a hilarious and major element, but it's more of a coming of age story with a very crass and honest writing.

You know, I heard good things about this and I gave it a try recently... it had its moments, but it was really, really creepy and full of rape, to the point that I really wasn't able to like or identify with Kurosawa at all, even after he was punished for his actions.

For a series with the nickname of "Fap Note", this manga is better than it has any right to be, really.

That said, I can understand why you wouldn't want to admit to it. It's uh, not exactly the most recommendation-friendly comic, among other things.

Don't worry, you just feel this way because it is one of the best manga ever. Seriously, I felt more emotionally connected to this manga than I did to Catcher in the Rye.

If you liked this one, you'd probably also like Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer. It has a very slow build up, much like Kurosawa, but it has a fantastic ending.
