Yeah...until people get into arguments which one of them is married to Equius on the astral plane or Dave/Terezi shippers start writing fic about Jade getting brutally murdered, Homestuck fandom is going to be nothing like HP fandom.

Reports of MSPA fandom's wankiness have, in general, been greatly exaggerated.

I could see it going either way. Equius has the ickiness (plus, I always imagine that his hair would be fucking gross) and Eridan has the jerkass woobie thing going.

His best (only) friend and crush, who would normally have kept him from goign too far over the line into evil, rejects him and dates another guy. Once all hope seems lost to him he goes to join the main villain.

The difference is that in doing so Eridan tried to kill Feferi while Snape tried to save Lily.
