LOL I was just telling a friend that I was very annoyed that I couldn't ship anyone in YJ because most of them (except for Aqualad and not!Arrowette) were just too immature.

You know, I have a similar problem. Even if two of the pairings are kinda in your face, I can't ship them D:

And I can't ship Dick with anybody because I only ship him with Babs, so...

It's the way they're portrayed, I think. Maybe that they "ring true" as children rather than being portrayed as quirky mini-adults like most fictional kids in adventure stories.

I get what you're saying, I tend to ship Dick/Bruce which is very much not happening in the series DX

On the other hand, I've recently developed a fortunate interest in OT3s (thanks White Collar!), so I'm happily shipping Kaldur/Garth/Tula :)

Maybe that's the problem.

I feel your pain. I developed an interest in Older!Damian/Steph (i don't even care if they aren't a couple, just them snarking at each other makes me happy) which is probably not happening. Ever.

Then again, Damian already got his "we are so slashy together" sidekick, like Dick and Tim did. And all the Robins except Jason had a thing for Batgirls... (even Steph, cause Cass/Steph was love)...

OT3 <3 Kaldur/Garth/Tula are so adorable.

Ohhh I like how your mind works! One of the best things about the Teen Titans crossover was the unholy friendship developing between Damian and Rose. Damian getting bitched back at by older girls is awesome.

Damian interacting with older girls is awesome. Steph, Supergirl, Rose... it's always hilarious. I need another Batgirl/Robin team up.

Ok, you clearly seem to know what you're doing. I'm not reading Batman Inc yet. Should I? is there something else that's recent and good? (by "recent", I mean, without too much catch up to do XD) any recs?

Well, I love Batgirl, I think it's one of the best bat titles right now. Simply because Steph is hilarious and after so much wangst I needed a cheerful title. Red Robin had some good issues (mainly when Tim was interacting with Steph and the rest of the Titans, around issue 9 or 10?) The first issues were... well, if you like Tim angst, you'll like them. Personally, I like "serious but not moping in every corner and trying to be Bruce 2.0." Tim.

I'm not very interested in Batman inc after reading one of the issues. Which is a shame because the idea was interesting. Though there's a lot of Bruce/Selina, if you like the pairing. I may give it another chance just for that.

I'd recommend Streets of Gotham, because Dustin Nguyen does the art and it's so very pretty.

Ok, My story with Steph is a bit weird. Since I'm new to the fandom, I was mostly reading summaries and character descriptions for a while and all of them kept going on about how awesome Steph generally was (minus one or two notable instances). But the only thing I read that she was in was Young Justice where she was basically used to point out that Secret's a bit...scary and strange and off-balance sometimes.

So Batgirl it is!

I'm reading Red Robin and Batman & Robin atm (Dick and Damian and Alfred = <3). and that's about it. and I'm wondering if I should read Teen Titans after that crossover, it looked fun.

But yeah, not a big fan of Bruce/Selina (mainly because I don't like Bruce all that much? maybe? I should probably read something where he's the main character at some point...)

And I absolutely agree about Streets of Gotham. (it was shoved at me very early on by the friend who introduced me to DC)

Ooooh I see. Well she started in Robin as the Spoiler and was Tim's partner/girlfriend for a while. Then they did War Games.... don't read War Games, it's character derailment at its worst. They fridged the poor girl and revived her later. She has a lot of flaws but I think that makes her SO human. I suggest you read a summary of her character. She had like... three secret identities XD

B&R <3 Dick and Damian are one of the best Batman/Robin duos. And Alfred is always awesome.

There's a lot of Bruce in Batman Inc. I love Bruce/Selina, but Bruce sometimes gets on my nerves.

SoG was amaazing. And Damian was adorable in it. <3

Speaking of Dick and Babs: they are a Very Awesome canon ship and I was really sad when they broke up (again) but I admit to my first though being "well, at least Dinah will be there for her!".

I'm trying to ignore half the things they did with Dick and Babs in the comics (like the Nightwing issue where he slept with her a day before marrying Kory and then invited her to the wedding WTF THAT'S NOT MY RICHARD GRAYSON) and I don't like what they are doing with Babs in Batman inc.

Dinah/Babs is my second OTP. They can have a threesome. We know Dinah and 99% of the DCU appreciates Dick's ass. <3
