But that's true for any kink that isn't yours. I mean, I get squicked out by RPS. I find it creepy and weird, but whatevs, just not my thing.

So I can see someone being all grossed out because it's not their thing, but I view it the same as being grossed out by watersports or sounding or spanking or whatever the kink may be. Which is where the phrase Your Kink Is Not My Kink But That's OK.

i don't think so. i mean, i've never found anything remotely "kinky" and i'm really awkward around anything sexualized so maybe i'm not one to comment at all, but i can at least comprehend reasoning. like glasses fetishes and bondage and. idk that assault fantasy shit. idk anything about it but i think someone mentioned it?

because at least with those, i can understand that someone will get exhiliration/adreneline from those kinds of situations and can therefore find it. kinky.

then whenever i hear about something gruesome like... hear about the SAW movies (which i never plan to watch, though i know they're gory) and hear about someone cutting their own foot off or something, i think OH MY GOD SOME PEOPLE MIGHT *FAP* TO THIS, and it kinda confuses me.

Yeah, but that's my point. You don't find it kinky. Like, it's just not your thing so you can't understand it. You don't have to fully understand or comprehend something to accept it. I accept that blood play is sexy for some people, but hell if I understand why.

i can understand it on some level, as i said. i can see why someone would like a certain thing, despite not liking it myself. kinda like how i can understand why someone would like assam tea with milk and sugar, while i find it better without both.
