I got this game recently and I plan on playing it when I finish RF3. However, I'm really not too happy with the controls in the game. I guess RF3 spoiled me because you move around so much faster, and the teleport spell is so convenient. But the characters in the first Rune Factory look so much better than 3 and Frontier (more old dudes FTW), so I can't wait to play it

Anyway, LOL Rune Factory fic -- does it even exist?

I was just looking at a Rune Factory game in Gamestop the other day. I don't remember which one it was... but I guess I know what I'm buying when my tax refund finally comes.

IDK about the second one, but I've been playing the third one for weeks (and I've played Frontier which is sort of a redone version of the first game for Wii), and all of the NPCS/non-heroines in the other games so far are actually quite young compared to the first one.

It's not even that I refuse to play games with young characters; I'd be pretty bored if I did. But I have a soft spot in my heart for old dudes, so I'll keep my eye out for this one. Thanks!

Well, I was just giving you the heads up that there really aren't that many old dudes in RF outside of the first game. Which is my main reason for wanting to play it too (I think Rosetta's dad is hot for some reason)
