It just bothers me when mediocrity and poor writing are rewarded with legions of fans who attack even legit criticism. Por ejemplo: Twilight, Avatar (James Cameron).

I appreciate Kickassia for what it is-a love letter to the fans of Channel Awesome and a "thank you" for two years of continued viewership.

In my top five films list, Kickassia doesn't make it. It may break top 100 though. I have many criticisms of it (mainly directed toward Mr. Walker) and one day I may even write my own lengthy, critical take on it. It's NOT perfect, but it entertains me and considering both the budget and effort involved, it's not that bad.

You say we attack legit criticism but you didn't even give any in your comment. You just said it was horrible Why don't you give some of this constructive criticism you mentioned?

Doug Walker should focus on writing better material and not rely so much on volume. As it stands, his material is rarely any better than the movies he takes the piss out of.

Thank you for posting real criticism rather than non-specific bashing.

And, you know what? I may be a huge fan of Channel Awesome but I agree with what you're saying. Because he has to turn out one a week, I can tell when one is more rushed and less thought out than the others. I can tell that from many of the reviewers on the site. That's why I really enjoy the ones who don't put themselves to a specific schedule but just put out a review when the material comes to them rather than forcing it.
