of such beauty that I cry every time I read them, and I've read the book every Christmas since I was eleven. That's now... coming up on my fifteenth readthrough and I never tire of it.

We have identical rituals.

Also this. The movies really are almost as equally incomparable as the book. While I balk when people dismiss the novel, I'm so glad the movies exist and were made with the love and care they were.
