My best friend who lives in Canada watched it and kept talking to me about it, and I always kinda knew about it since my mom would bring it up everywhere.

Though I live in a ROUGH PLACE LOL where everybody watches Skins and Shameless and Waterloo Road or some other weird shit, so it didn't really occur to me as strange that nobody but my best friend mentioned it IRL.

I'm a Brit, so if you've never heard of Skins/Shameless/Waterloo Road, then CONSIDER YOURSELVES LUCKY.
