James Herriot, in my opinion, is the cure for anger. He's straight-up Scottish awesome.

(I'm still waiting for someone to write the equivalent of James Herriot in space.)

I would watch/read the HELL out of that, although I'm not sure exactly what James Herriot in Space would entail. Would he be like a vet... for aliens...? Or would he be some other kind of affable, long-suffering guy?

I want a serial series about a doctor/vet for aliens who has to work with all these different physiologies and get along with a bunch of different personalities. No epic space battles, no first contact. Just someone like James Herriot doing his thing in SPAAAAAACE.

Unfortunately, it could only be written convincingly by someone with medical training, which I do not have. :(

Open a new tab, find something more interesting and let myself get distracted by it. By the time I get back to the other tab, I've usually cooled down.

Hm, I don't usually get angered on FS (sometimes a tad irate at the stupidity). I'll go play Portal 2 or Pokemon or whatever else I'm currently playing at the time. If I don't feel like "thinking" then I'll watch the Food Network. :P
