Really, you take fights about "retarded" and "lynching" to heart more than assertions that "women just can't be funny!" "women are soulless attention whores!" "black men are all rapists!" "black men are all thieves!" "mexicans, lazy, WHY??" "no one understands my white boy tears :*(" because I promise you that attitude is saturated in pretty much all of the boards, with sincerity, and I've been there for years. I'll probably continue to use the boards for years to come but the idea that 4chan is socially ~freer~ than lj is literally the dumbest thing I've heard anyone say.

Unless you're a newb :3 then your stupidity is understandable.

Well, no, in my experience (late 2007-early 2008 onwards)I haven't had too much of a problem with that- whenever I'm on any board I tend to read only the threads that are on topic, like actual videogame discussion on /v/ (getting rarer though), dumping pictures/folders for people on /cm/, talking about cosplay on /cgl/ and not cosplayer wank, ect. Sure, there is a lot of that stuff going on, but usually they're in shitty and/or offtopic threads started by 13 year olds, so I guess if you are sticking around for that shit (like waifu slut threads) then you're probably the idiot.

Then again, I have no idea why I replied to this comment written solely for the purpose for calling me stupid by someone who is too much of a puss to call someone else on the internet out without being identified.
