Go you~ ^____^

(Seriously, I'm still practicing my speed-typing. It is not going too well...)

I generally plod along at about 60 wpm, but if I get excited (or am transcribing notes or something), I blow past 90. Which I think is lame, cuz my mom could totally out type me. She's far more accurate as well.

Uhhh... I'm a third generation typist? Cuz typing skills are totally inheritable.

That's pretty awesome. ^_^ We used to have a typing program (there was a robot? I think? Somehow?) and we practised typing with it, but it was for "little kids", so we got rid of it... >_<

I'm not, my Da writes out things long hand, and my Mum... Hm... I don't think I've ever asked her...

I used a typing program at school, but it wasn't until we got the internet at home that I actually typed faster than nine wpm. IM doesn't work very well if you can't type fast, y'know?

My dad types with three fingers. It offends everyone else in my house and we all have to leave the room if he's using a computer. Otherwise we all start twitching and want to steal the keyboard.

Yep. ^_^

Oh dear.... >____>

That's actually kind of funny. Sorry... ^_^'

It... kinda really is. Well, when I'm not actually watching him type.

I am SO HOPING (but not in any way expecting) that some day we'll get my dad up to that level of proficency. Right now when I'm walking him through something over the phone, I have to tell him where to find each key...

To be fair, while he is highly intelligent and AMAZING at fixing things, he just has NO experience with computers, and I (in contrast) used to use Mum's manual typewriter to type out stories when I was a kid and got our first computer when I was like 13, 14. It was a Lazer XT from Tandy, with a monochrome monitor, because I am old. XD

Still have to look at the keyboard, but at least I can type fast enough to keep up with my thoughts when I'm writing. ;)

...Also, why do I always forget to mention Stargate? Hey, have you checked out Babylon 5?

I'm Canadian too, but I'm in BC. Oh well.

My dad's job is basically sitting at a computer and typing things. Yeeaaah. At one point, his job description was basically move power throughout the province via a computer, which is kinda scary considering how crap his typing skills are.

Haha ohh typewriters. I used one once for the lawls, buuut I'm kiinda too young to have used one seriously. My mom and her brother sometimes geek out about typewriters, though. It is strangely hilarious.

Ahh, no, I have yet to get around to wafching B5, much like how one of my friends (who, incidentally, moved to Vancouver a few months back) hasn't gotten around to watching Stargate. Needless to say, it is on the list and I will watch it. Eventually.
