Fandoms: Doctor Who, Les Misérables and the general sprawl of history/Hugo/Balzac/Sand/Dumas/etc geeking that surrounds its fandom, Age of Sail (especially Patrick O'Brian), Star Wars, Phantom of the Opera, Harry Potter, passing interest in a bunch of smaller book fandoms.
What in fandom interests me: In order? General geeking/meta/squee/discussion, fic, a healthy amount of crack, research squee for historical fandoms, bootlegging for musical theatre fandoms, cosplay. I tend to get super into things in a "MUST LEARN EVERYTHING ABOUT THE WORLDBUILDING" way--if I had chanced to fall in love with LotR instead of just liking it a lot, I would probably be fluent in Quenya by now.
What in fandom does NOT interest me: More-or-less indifferent to RP, vidding, podfic, and fanmixes. Actively avoiding ship wank, social-justice flamewars, my-fan-dick-is-bigger-than-yours judginess, and beans. Beans are evil.
Major Non-fandom Interests: History (especially French history, especially Romantic era), language learning, gothy fashion and music, computer science, classical music and opera, recreational mathematics, and using my powers for evil.
My LJ Contains Mostly: About an even split between skippable RL whinging and whatever my primary fandom is at the moment--recently it's been Doctor Who, before that it was Les Mis. Usually discussion, random fandom, meta, squee, crack, etc. with occasional fic thrown in.
