Fandoms:Phantom of the Opera mainly, these days, but also Babylon 5 (I loooove scifi and fantasy; I'm just not in any fandoms for any of it); V for Vendetta; Lord of the Rings, Hellboy, oh, and Steampunk. If there is ANYONE in the South Cariboo into Steampunk please contact me! So far as I can tell I'm the only person who has even heard of it. :(
What in fandom interests me:Oh, the friendships, the silliness, the creativity, writing...
What in fandom does NOT interest me:Wank. Unless it's entertaining. XD I have to admit, sometimes it's fun to poke at certain topics occasionally (is it a swan bed or a phoenix bed? And (apparently more importantly) what is the incredibly huge amount of symbolism attached to it? Why is Erik associated with the number 3? And most importantly, who the hel cares? XD).
Major Non-fandom Interests:Costuming, especially historical costuming (that's me in a dress I made in my icon, working on a Steampunk outfit now), theatre, Airsoft (like paintball only waaay cooler, less messy, and also less expensive which is nice)...
My LJ Contains Mostly:Very occasional updates about my life and sometimes various project ideas. Steampunk vehicles, stuff like that.

The South Cariboo is the region I live in, in the interior of British Columbia, Canada. It's kind of like secret code; if you don't live close enough to get together for coffee or what and squee, you aren't going to have heard of it. ;) No worries. :)

Also, WHY do I ALWAYS forget to mention Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman and Team TGWTG and Stargate and awesome stuff like that until I read it in other people's secrets? XD You wait, I'll have forgotten a BUNCH of other stuff too.

See? Forgot all about the Transformers (not into the fandom really, but I've loved them since the pilot first aired YES I AM THAT OLD XD), Labyrinth, Red Dwarf, old Dr Who (don't hate the new one just haven't seen it); Jeeves & Wooster (books & show), Agatha Christie; Due South; used to be ALL OVER the Justice League comics back in the early 90's but lost interest when they went OMGSERIOUS (but I still love me my Martian Manhunter)... uh, Batman, Zorro, uh... bunches of stuff.

I love your dress! It looks like it has a lot of detail. I used to have some historical costumes, but nothing too interesting or elaborate. I've always thought costumes were cool.
