Everyone else has already commented on the "perfect mother" bit of this secret, so I'll leave that alone, but what strikes me is that you talk about her having "time" to be creative. If I was in her situation constantly, I wouldn't be able to be creative, since part of being creative means gaining life experience that you can use in your work.

This. Plus, people do no realize that being creative is only fun when time has value, ie when you have other obligations and you're creating time for artistic pursuits around those.

I'm currently unemployed, but I'm on unemployment and have amassed a considerable savings. However, it forces me to stay in 95% of the time because I can't spend money. I am living anon's 'perfect' life, and it's fucking miserable and I can't create a thing. I am frantically searching for work and can't wait until I have those social/financial/romantic obligations that the OP spurns - THOSE are the things that make life worthwhile.
