Um yeah there would have most definitely been sex at a British boarding school but there would also have been condoms. So no go Telegony (and why would it exist in the Potter world anymore than in this world anyway).

You say this only because those are the ones you hear about. The kids practicing safe generally don't have much to talk about due to their lack of pregnancy and std scares. No one wants to watch a TV show titled, "Not a Teen Mom; I use birth control" when watching the train wreck of "Teen Mom" is more entertaining.

Actually, they did a study recently in which late-teens were more consistent about condom use than single people in their 40s. Granted, this was all self-reported, so there could have been fibbing going on, but that goes for both age groups.

I'm sure they had better super magical contraceptives than condoms. Like some kind of no-baby potion or something.

I've wondered about this. The wizarding world is frighteningly conservative. I'm sure that magical contraceptives exist, but they might be illicit and hard to get a hold of unless you make them yourself. And... well, you've seen the screw-ups Hogwarts students can make.
