Honestly? You will have tons of free time in college as well, but less than you did in high school. The way education works is that it slowly steps up your workload to form your time management skills for the career ahead of you. I've got so much less time as an adult than I ever have, working from 10-6/7 or so every day and trying to have an active social life. Weekends are free, yes, but you have to set one day aside for chores (groceries, laundry, cleaning) and whatever else, soooooo yeah. Whereas in college I had these huuuuge pockets of time I could use to choose to work on my stuff, or go to the park, or whatever. You'll be fine, but appreciate it now because it only gets busier.

Honestly there's a reason so many people in fandom are younger, and part of it is the time invesment.
